VA recently launched a website featuring job openings at specific VA facilities and geographical locations. Prospective employees still need to follow the job posting links to complete the application on USAJobs.gov, but VA’s website seems like a better way to locate VA job openings at specific facilties around you, versus USAJobs.gov’s more general location and job-series based approach.
You might also find VA’s website a little more valuable than USAJobs.gov since it talks about how working at VA specifically is different from other companies and federal agencies. Since most veterans also receive priority consideration for job vacancies at VA, this just might be up your alley if you’re trying to make a career move in 2020.
